What Is Anti Tracking / Non Tracking?

Tracking is the formation of conductive paths on insulation surfaces due to moisture and electrical stress. Anti tracking or non tracking sleeves are engineered to resist this surface degradation, helping prevent flashover, surface arcing, carbonisation, and insulation failure. This improves operational safety and extends cable life.

Product Description

The Anti Tracking / Non Tracking Heat Shrink Sleeve is manufactured from specially formulated polymers for enhanced tracking resistance.

The red inner layer provides primary electrical insulation with high dielectric strength.
The black outer layer offers superior surface protection and anti-tracking performance.

When heated using a heat gun or oven, the sleeve shrinks tightly over cables, joints, or terminations, restoring insulation integrity and eliminating leakage paths.
